Report of Batumi Navigation Teaching University Research Center on work Performed in 2020

In BNTU research management is carried out by Research Center. To support research, the Center assists University staff in seeking funding, promotes researches focused on innovative knowledge, quality and results at BNTU.

The main functions of the Center:

• Promoting the effective conduct of BNTU scientific, research and educational activities, application of the results of scientific and industry researches and the modern knowledge in educational process, creation and dissemination of new knowledge;
• Promoting integration of BNTU into the international space and internationalization of BNTU activities and development of activities in priority areas for BNTU, implementation of fundamental and / or applied research and practical projects;
• Supporting training of young generation of scientists and researchers;
• Promoting the development of BNTU staff and student research potential;
• Consolidation of capabilities of the Center and its partners, promotion of the commercialization of the achievements of the Center and its partners;
• Providing consulting assistance (if necessary) to stakeholders in accordance with the areas of activities of the Center.

• Electronic System of Teaching Process Management

At Makhinjauri Maritime School, professional orientation and counseling services are available to individuals interested in pursuing vocational education as well as to enrolled students. These services are provided by the school’s Internship and Employment Service.

Career Planning is a service designed for individuals who wish to understand educational programs and occupational opportunities in order to manage their careers. It helps people reflect on their ambitions, interests, qualifications, and skills, and teaches them how to plan their learning and work processes and make informed decisions.
