On May 18, 2023, with the participation of Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum, Batumi Navigation Teaching University hosted the VII International Scientific Conference of Students.

The working directions of the conference were: marine sciences, logistics, humanitarian, social and natural sciences, business administration.

The work of the sections was conducted in Georgian and English languages.

On May 3, 2023, the final event of the "Library Week" was held in the Independence Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

Along with other institutions, Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum was presented at the event.

The head of the library of the educational institution made a presentation, the purpose of which was to promote the activities of the library.

At the end of the event, participants were given certificates.

On April 21-28, 2023, the educational week "Earth is our planet" was held in Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum.

The purpose of the week was to raise awareness among students in solving environmental and ecological problems, as well as to develop creative and observation skills.

The week took place within the framework of the school project "Protect the environment to be protected". Lectures and seminars, demonstration lessons, as well as quizzes, were held.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, held a working meeting with directors of private schools and representatives of associations, within the framework of which he discussed the challenges in general educational institutions and ways to solve them.

The meeting was attended by Ia Verulidze, a specialist of the Quality Assurance Service of Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum.

The ongoing school project in Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum "Protect the environment to be protected" is in an active phase.

In April 2023, the activities provided by the project plan in the direction of environmental protection were carried out.

The representatives of the educational institution, among them the teachers of civil education, geography, biology, English and physics, held classes within the project, during which they talked about the importance of environmental protection.
