From 30 September to 3 October 2025, Giorgi Gabedava, the International Relations Specialist of the Makhinjauri Maritime School, participated in the EVBB EU Policy Camp 2025 held in Brussels.
The central theme of the event was “Open Schooling and Inclusion in VET”. The camp brought together experts, policymakers, and practitioners in the field of vocational education across Europe.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to attend sessions and workshops on:

Reviewing vocational education and exploring new perspectives,

Discussing the necessity of openness in vocational education,
-
Designing innovative curricula, increasing youth engagement, and developing vocational education as a hub for local communities,

Exploring inspirational European examples of openness and inclusion.
Giorgi Gabedava participated in discussions on the internationalization of the school’s vocational education and its integration into the European educational space. The parties also discussed the potential membership of the Makhinjauri Maritime School in EVBB, which would represent a significant step forward for the school.
