On 8 October 2025, 12th-grade students of the Makhinjauri Maritime School, accompanied by their class teacher, visited the botanical garden.

The students toured the seed collection and herbarium departments, where they learned about the processes of seed collection, classification, storage conditions, and transportation. They also explored various plant sections and were introduced to the ongoing autumnal horticultural activities.

This activity contributes to raising students’ ecological awareness and understanding the importance of environmental protection.
