On 18 December 2025, a class hour was conducted for 11th-grade students of the Makhinjauri Maritime School on the topic “The Development of Civic Values.” The session was characterized by active student participation and discussion.

Within the framework of the class hour, the concept of citizenship in its contemporary understanding was examined. Students discussed civic values, the fundamental rights and responsibilities of citizens, and particular attention was given to the importance of civic responsibility toward the state and society.

The session contributed to enhancing students’ civic awareness, fostering critical thinking skills, and promoting an understanding of the significance of active citizenship.
