On February 16,2026, a class hour was conducted in the 11th grade at Makhinjauri Maritime School on the topic: Career Planning and Setting Future Goals. The aim of the meeting was to introduce students to professional pathways in the maritime field and to develop their practical skills.
In particular, the following topics were discussed:

Education, certification, and professional growth (STCW, sea practice, and promotion)

Employment opportunities and working conditions (types of employers, salary expectations, contracts and rotation, life at sea, shore-based careers)

Career planning and self-presentation (career planning strategies, what a CV is, CV structure — personal information, education, language proficiency)

Job interviews and effective communication (what an interview is, how to prepare, body language and communication)
